The Arts Research Center is located on the north side Bancroft Way in the Hearst Field Annex in Building D. Across the way from the Women’s gymnasium, there is a set of 4 metal buildings around a courtyard (behind Sproul Hall and next to the Social Science building). Each building row is alphabetical. Building D is in the back of the Annex, across the courtyard.

Parking:
There are multiple parking lots around campus. Bancroft Structure is open 5pm to 2am with a parking fee of $2 per hour. Bancroft Hotel and Public parking has a $6 flat rate all day Sunday and after 6:30pm. Lower Sproul Garage is open from 5am to midnight and is $1 every 20 minutes. More info about campus parking. Public parking is also available on Bancroft, Telegraph, and surrounding streets.
Public Transit:
Bus: South of the venue on Bancroft Way, there are three bus stops where you can find these buses (36, 604, 605, 79, 51B, 851, 6 and 52 ). They are a 5 to 10 minute walk from the venue. Transit schedules here.
BART: The venue is a 14 minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART OR you can catch a bus (79, 6 and 851) from the station to campus. For easy walking directions, head South on Shattuck Ave towards Allston Way and turn left at Bancroft Way. Alternate directions here.

Parking can be tight on our block, but street parking is available. There is a multi-floor City of San Rafael parking garage a two blocks away, at 3rd and C Streets. More info

We are a 10 minute walk from the San Rafael Transit Center, or 1 block from the 4th & C Street, San Rafael stop. Schedules
